Cory won a day with the Arizona Cardinals at work and he could take 1 guest. We were so excited to go. We went on Sautrday the 1st but on the Friday, My mom called and said they were on their way home from Illinois and wondered if we would mind them doing a weekend layover in Phoenix. I was so excited but I told them we were planning on going to this event all day Saturday. She was fine to play with the girls while we were gone but I thought I'd have Cory call the coordinator anyways just to see what the cost would be for them to come. Lo and behold, the coordinator called him back and said she'd had some cancellations and that they could come with us at no cost! So we had an awesome day together watching the Cardinals train and enjoying the pleasures of "VIP's".
We took a bus up to Flagstaff (about 3 hours by bus) into the mountains. The back drop was beautiful up there with some tall trees and a nice breeze. I think it got up to 85 that day...back at home it was about 108.
We were in the VIP tent and had a really nice spread of food all day. We got to walk the same line as the media guys - the "public" was held back a little further off the sidelines.
After the practice the players, coaches and owners came through the VIP tent for pictures and autographs. We snapped tons of photos - here are a few. :) We had a blast and it was so much fun with Mom and Dad!

Hey girl! I just found you :) The girls are getting soooo big - I can't believe it! Hope you are all doing well. It looks like you're happy :) Love ~ the yorks!
Did you ask Leinart why he's so lame yet makes so much money?
soo fun! so jealous!
Who's Leinart? Is that the guy in the picture? I am the most ignorant sports person on the face of the earth, and was running around like Joe-Joe the circus boy getting anyone to sign that dang football. There was a catered gourmet buffet though.
